Jail

The Warrick County Security Center is located at 100 West State Road 62 about 1/4 of a mile East of the Boonville city limits.

Inmate Visitation:
After being booked into the Warrick County Security Center inmates are given a Visitors List form to fill out. Only individuals listed on the form can visit the inmate. Inmates are allowed two 30 minute visits per week. The schedule for each inmate varies due to the cellblock that he/she may be assigned to. For information on the visitation schedule Call (812) 897-6096. There are no visits on weekends. Visitors entering the main lobby of the Security Center use the phone on the wall to the left of the receptionist window to notify the jail (dial ext 317 or push the jail button) of there arrival.

Commissary:
Commissary is done one time per week and inmates have a wide variety of items to choose from. There is the usual hygiene and correspondence materials as well as a large assortment of snack foods such as soup, coffee, kool-aid, hot chocolate, oatmeal, candy bars, cookies and chips to name a few.

Inmate commissary funds consist of money that the inmate had on him/her at the time of arrest or money given to him/her by a relative or friend. Money may be left at the time of visitation, sent through the mail or dropped off anytime 24/7 at the jail. The money will be placed in the inmate's account and a receipt will be issued to the individual leaving the money. Any unused money will be returned to the inmate once he/she is released from the jail. Cash or money orders are accepted but absolutely no checks.

Phone calls/list:
Once an inmate is booked into the Security Center he/she is allowed to make the necessary phone calls to arrange his/her release.

If the inmate has to stay at The Security Center he/she is given a Phone List form to fill out. Once the form is completed and given to the jail staff the inmate will be able to make phone calls from his/her cellblock. The inmate can only call individuals listed on his/her Phone List form. Each phone call will cost the recipient approximately $3.00 to per call from the inmate and $.60 each additional minute thereafter.

Medical Care:
The Warrick County Security Center has a full time registered nurse on staff five days a week as well as an on call physician for the inmates.

 Programs:
The Warrick County Security Center provides several programs for inmates. One such program is the General Educational Development (G.E.D.)
