Inmate Visitation

After being booked into the Warrick County Security Center inmates are given a Visitors List form to fill out. Only individuals listed on the form can visit the inmate. Inmates are allowed two 30 minute visits per week. The schedule for each inmate varies due to the cellblock he/she may be assigned to.

For information on the visitation schedule call (812) 897-6096.There are no visits on weekends. Visitors entering the main lobby of the Security Center should use the phone on the wall to the left of the receptionist window in order to notify the jail staff of their arrival (dial ext. 317 or push the Jail button). Visitors must have a photo I.D. in order to visit an inmate.

Phone Calls

Once an inmate has been booked into the Security Center, he/she will be allowed to make the necessary phone calls to arrange his/her release.

If the inmate has to stay at the Security Center he/she is given a Personal Identification Number (P.I.N.) in order to make phone calls from his/her cellblock. Each phone call will cost the recipient approximately $3.00 per call from an inmate, then an additional .60¢ for each additional minute thereafter.

Programs

The Warrick County Security Center provides several programs for inmates. One such program is the General Education Development Course (G.E.D.), which allows an inmate to obtain his/her high school diploma. The inmates are also given the opportunity to attend a faith based program that focuses on addiction as well as a church service one night a week.

Treatment and Counseling

Inmates who have been sexually assaulted or abused will be offered counseling and treatment. This counseling will be provided by qualified personnel that are trained to provide counseling to victims of sexual assault. Counseling is confidential.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY FOR SEX OFFENSES

The Warrick County Sheriff's Office and Jail maintain a zero tolerance policy for all forms of inappropriate sexual conduct whether involving inmates or inmates and staff members.
